Level 3: Color 1 / 4 weeks
Color I builds on the basic vocabulary and processes gained during Levels 1 and 2 but with the exciting addition of color. Students will spend equal times with the
three basic components of color: powder, frit and rod. Students will understand how color reacts to heat and how to work with soft and stiff colors. The class will cover powder manipulation, frit twist, body wrap, collar, lip wrap, and overlay. Completion of our Level 2 class is a prerequisite.
Classes scheduled as needed. Level 2 students are offered Level 3 classes that continue on the same day and time as their Level 2 class.
Level 4: Color 2 / 4 weeks
Color 2 builds on the basic forms of color learned in Color 1 but continues to push the level of difficulty. Students will expand on the color techniques covered in Color 1 but will additionally move toward powder and clear frit on clear wrap, powder double optic twist, tri-color body wrap and optic, and the incalmo technique. Completion of our Level 3 class is a prerequisite.
Classes scheduled as needed. Level 3 students are offered Level 4 classes that continue on the same day and time as their Level 3 class.
